Left over Turkey #Tips
What to do w/ left over Turkey!? So you have all this left over turkey from the holiday season and you are like. "WHAT do I do w/ all of this!?".. Well, I am here to share my top 5 fav's for this situation
w/ a clean healthy tasty solution. To save the day!
#Tip 1) Freeze it! - Yes, you can do that.. "Pre-plan"
and have prepped turkey on hand and ready to go. Cut it into slices or cubes or however best fits
your future turkey craving cooking food prep
needs. (Best practices is to make sure to super seal it in a zip bag and let air out) ***No Wasting*** Portion single or more servings.. 2) Make SOUP! - Okay I gotta be honest Turkey soup is my best creation in this department so far. There is so much flavor and healthy goodness when you make your OWN soup! You can control the sodium and everything else that goes in it so that you are not leaving it up to "manufacturers" w/ their chemicals and preservatives in their processed soups. PLUS!!! You can load'em up so to not have what I call "chinsy" soup! Lol Make it hearty and tasty. I mean what good is "Vegetable soup w/ 1 lil carrot piece, 2 green beans and teeny tiny piece of potato!?! Lol THEN, freeze in portions for future grab'n'go soups. 3) Turkey Salad on Cucumber Slices - HELLO! nuff said.. 4) Turkey stroganoff for that Fall pasta fix that you've workout so hard for. (I use egg ribbon noodles. They are lighter) 5) Try something NEW! I like to try a new recipe each year. As my philosophy w/ food is that you will never know if you are missing out on something DELISH if you haven't tried it out first. #Truth
